To ALL Bedfordshire County Junior archers.

Following the success and positive comments from our previous sessions, we will be holding another informal get together, this time for our Junior county archers.

You are invited to join us for an Open morning on Saturday the 18th November. This will be at the Alameda Sports Hall, Woburn St., Ampthill, Bedfordshire, MK45 2HX

what3words Location – binders.scorched.unions. From 10.00am till 12.30pm.

There is no charge, BCAA will be providing the session for our juniors to meet other juniors from within the county and experience shooting under tournament conditions. All of which is designed to get you ready for when you shoot for the county.

This would be a good practice for the Beds County Champs being held the following weekend in the same hall on the 26th November.

We will be shooting a short round at 20yards under the direction of Mr Brian Dunlop. There will be scoring during the round, not specifically to record your score but more to go through the procedure of scoring with yourselves and your parent guardian within a relaxed atmosphere amongst like minded individuals

For those of you who haven’t experienced shooting a competition this is for you, and for those of you who are experienced we’re hoping you’ll be willing and able to help any newcomers. If you have anything specific you would like to work on or want help with this is an ideal opportunity, in particular for the parents of the juniors to unravel some of the mysteries.

We have invited experienced archers to attend. These will cover most bow types, in particular the Recurve and Compound, if you have anything specific you would like us to cover please let us know in good time. We will do our best to meet your request.

If you have a coach, they are more than welcome to attend. We would ask that your parents or guardians are in attendance for the duration of the session.

There are not any chairs in the hall. If you would need to rest please bring a chair suitable for use within a sports hall, the atmosphere can be very dry within the hall please bring a drink for the morning.

Please let your rep know if you’d like to attend by Saturday 11 Nov.
